Samsung and Sprint Reclaim
The rumored Samsung Reclaim has really come right. The eco friendly phone has just hit the market and I have some details about the phone. For starters 80% Samsung Reclaim is eco friendly, it means that its parts are made up off bio plastics, recycled materials and soy based inks.
Though Samsung Reclaim is eco friendly its price is really affordable, at a price of $ 49.99 a piece. Samsung Reclaim is a collaborated product from Samsung and Sprint and will be officially sold by Sprint in two colors – earth green and ocean blue. Reclaim is not just not a eco friendly phone but also a full featured messaging phone with a 2.3 inch horizontal show.
Reclaim has a QWERTY slider with a one click interface. Reclaim also has 3G, 2 Mega-Pixel camera (no flash) with video capture feature. A 3.5 mm headphone jack on the left keeping in mind the convenience for the users along with a volume controller. There is a camera button and 2 ports – USB and a microSD card slot, on the right hand side of the phone.
A 512 MB microSD card is already included in the package along with the Getting Started guide, a charger and a battery all of which is made from either bio plastics or recycled materials and the ink used in the guide is soy based. The battery is a Standard Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery with upto 6 hours of talk time.
Reclaim supports SMS, MMS, IM, Corporate and POP3 Email. It also supports 3G data transfer, HTML browsing, Sprint TV and Music. In the entertainment sub category there is Games, TV (for accessing Sprint TV) and Music. Music can also be downloaded from the Sprint online stores on the phone.
In small Samsung Reclaim is a green phone with the features people want these days and at an affordable price of $ 49.99.
