Samsung I8000 Omnia II
Recently Samsung held a showcase of its upcoming smartphones, one of those phones was the Samsung i8000 II(2). The new Omnia is one the part of the Omnia Series and will has alot expectations due to its previous successor.
Samsung i8000 Omnia II(2) has been equipped with an operating system which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. i8000 II has a 3.7 inch AMOLED resistive touch screen, which gives perfect clarity even in the most brightest days.
The phone has been made user friendly as it has got large shortcut icons in the desktop. Also due to innovative TouchWiz 2.0 User Interface, 3D effects and touch-optimised user interface, the user can browse, delight in multimedia, do multi tasking and have fun, all at the same time.
The improved show and user interface helps the user to delight in multimedia functions, which includes DVD-like(480p) video recording/playback, smooth internet browsing as well as interactive 3D games.
Users can also access and download content while on the go thanks to its HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps and Wi-Fi capabilities. Memory up to 48GB lets users store more content for on the go activities.
Omnia II(2) has an integrated Mega-Pixel camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution, autofocus and Dual Power LED flash. For video recording and video calling a Second camera has been integrated with 720×480@30fps. Samung Omnia II(2) will be available only in one colour i.e. Black.
