After so many touch phones getting introduced in the market, Sony Ericsson has come with one of its own. Sony Ericsson has named its touch phone “Sony Ericsson Aino“. Sony Ericsson Aino was announced in May 2009 and expected to release in late of 2009.

Aino is not just a touch phone but it is a slider touch phone which available in two colours (Obsidian Black and Luminous White). Aino is integrated with a TFT capacitive touchscreen (240 x 432 pixels, 3.0 inches) with 16M colors which enables the user to watch anything on the phone. The phone is very thin with just 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm in dimension and 130g and weight. Aino has a 55 MB internal memory. In addition the phone already consists of a 8 GB memory card which can be extended upto to 16 GB.
Even after making a touch Sony Ericsson has not left behind its trademark essence of multimedia. Aino is loaded with multimedia features.
To start off Aino has a 8.1 Mega Pixel camera (touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilizer, smart contrast, red-eye reduction, video calling) In addition to the outstanding 8.1 camera it also consists of a VGA@30fps for better quality of video calling. That’s not it, the 8.1 MP camera has been installed with a face detection software. So now who need a camera when you have the Sony Ericsson Aino.

As like all the Sony Ericsson phones, this one also comes with a installed media player. The media player can be used to used to listen to music, browse images and watch videos. But the main advantage of Aino as compared to all the other phone is that the audio quality of its speakers is brilliant as they are stereo. Also the jack used for earphones is the standard earphones used by Sony Ericsson.
If you are a Sony gaming fan then you are going to like this phone because it convert into a PS3 remote. Aino is a direct competition to the PSP in regards to PS3 as it can control, interact and transfer data as this function was previously designed for PSP. SO in small you wont just have a phone but nearly a PSP.
The touch of the phone is not only used for navigation purposes but also focusing images, rewinding/forwarding/playing/pausing/stopping the music and playing games.
Last but the most awesome feature, with DLNA support and Sony Ericsson’s MediaGo technology, you can also interact with any of the content you have stored on your PC. When the phone is charging, it will automatically connect to your PC over WiFi, and, via the MediaGo software installed on your PC, will automatically synchronize with all the content you’ve got stored on it.Once synchronized, you can then access this content over the Internet anywhere in the world. The content is stored on your PC, but you control, stream and ultimately view it on your phone.
In addition Aino consists of features like Google Maps, Picture editor/blogging, YouTube & Facebook applications, Organizer, Voice memo, SensMe and T9.
Aino is integrated with a Standard battery, Li-Po 1000 mAh with a Stand-by time of up to 380 hrs (2G) / Up to 367 hrs (3G) and Talk time of up to 13 hrs (2G) / up to 4 hrs 30 min (3G) and when in flight mode or if only music is being played it can last upto 31 hrs.
