Sony Ericsson is just leaving the walkman editions.. The latest in the whole list of walkman edition is “Sony Ericsson W710″.I would say that this is the best among all the others Walkman Phones it has come. Not only me, you would also say the same thing when strap the phone (with a built in pedometer ) to your arm while going for jogging..

W710 is a clamshell phone integrated with 2 MP camera (attached on the top),a Memory Stick Micro memory card slot, a FM radio, and a set of nice fitness applications to store your results and to calculate how many calories you have burned on the track that day. It’s a highly attractive combination that makes the first steps for Sony Ericsson on the mobile sports track. As always everything is not perfect. The disadvantage of this phone is that it has low resolution display, camera has no autofocus, records video in ancient QCIF (176 x 144 pixels) resolution only. There is one more small thing that I forgot to mention, the keypad of the W710 glows in the dark with a dim orange backlighting. At present the phone has been launhced in two colours, Performance Graphite and Hatha Violet.. The phone is also know as “Sony Ericsson W710i” for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Americas and “Sony Ericsson W710c” for Mainland China..
